The Challenge
What stood between us and a perfect show
A high-stakes product launch for a Northeast India brand required a broadcast-quality stream to a national press audience while simultaneously delivering pristine speech intelligibility for 800 in-room attendees. The venue was a hotel ballroom with low ceilings, heavy HVAC noise floor, and strict no-pyro and no-haze policies. The client's brief demanded the production look “global-stage ready” within a conservative A/V budget.
The Solution
How we engineered it
We engineered a delay-speaker system rather than throwing level at the room: eight RCF HDL20A hangs at low angles, supplemented by JBL 725 delay columns at the room's midpoint, kept the SPL gentle yet crystal-clear at the back rows. A custom 12 ft × 6 ft LED video wall section served as the product reveal backdrop, driven by a 4K content playback rig with a live presenter feed. The Behringer Wing console was configured in theatrical speech mode with a hard high-pass and gentle de-essing across all mic channels. The Sony Z90 anchored a locked-off wide shot; the ZV-E10 Mark II covered product close-ups on a shoulder rig. Hollyland Pyro HDMI wireless transmitted both feeds to the Go-Stream switcher at zero latency for a clean director's cut delivered to the national media stream endpoint.
The Result
Show night and beyond
The stream attracted 1,400 concurrent media viewers across press YouTube channels. Post-event feedback from the client's PR team cited the LED backdrop as “the single most photographed element of the launch.” Zero audio complaints from any of the 800 attendees. The broadcast-grade stream was picked up by two regional news portals within the hour. The client signed a retainer agreement with DC Events for their next three events.
